One of this week’s top news stories involved a plan to build the world’s largest wind farm off the coast of England. Dong Energy, the company behind the wind farm has already put £6bn into wind power in the UK, and plans to add another £6bn by 2020. This will generate 1.2 gigawatts, or enough energy to power one million homes.
